We offer a wide range of classroom taught courses where our instructors will teach and demonstrate proper testing techniques. Students will gain an understanding of the Instron® systems capabilities - including test method development, safe system operation, validation of test results, and report generation.
Our training courses are divided into two categories: Core and Specialized to cover the full spectrum of training required by users of Instron testing systems.
A number of these courses can be scheduled to be taught at your facility if that is more convenient to you.

Day 1 | Introduction
The course highlights the basics of materials testing including mechanical properties, load/elongation test curves, different types of testing, stress and strain, modulus, yield, pre-set point calculations and application testing with demonstration tests on computerized materials test instruments. Learn to run tensile, compressive, flexural, peel tests, as well as how to interpret test curves and perform calculations.
Day 2 and 3 | Bluehill® Software
Learn comprehensive instructions on the fundamentals of safe operation of the testing system with Bluehill Software. Course participants work on their own computers to program their test applications, run tests on actual machines or in simulation mode, and create their own test methods. Additionally, they will learn how to save, recall, and generate test data, methods, and reports.
